7th grade students created a mosaic to advocate for the Niagara River’s designation as a Wetland of International Significance under the Ramsar Convention. The work highlighted our connection to our local waterways and the ways in which water connects all of our global ecosystems. The artist statement and advocacy letter detail the decisions made in the composition, and reiterate the importance of Niagara River habitats.
